Overview

Computer Network Security is an instructional program that focuses on the design, implementation and management of linked systems of computers, peripherals and associated software and prepares individuals with the technical skills required to support networks and network users.
Main topics of study include:
Networks technologies and standards; system design; architecture; operating systems; security; communications protocols; client support; messaging services; network management; troubleshooting and server optimization.

  • Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT)

Career Outlook

A unique partnership between West Side CTC, LCCC, and College Misericordia, called the 2+2+2 program, allows you to smoothly transition from high school to LCCC to earn an Associate's Degree. Students can then choose to go on for two years at CM to earn a Bachelor's degree. Students that complete all three levels, are eligible for CM's Guaranteed Placement Program, which will guarantee a successful graduate an entry level job offer within 6 months of graduation.
